Interview with Author Mary Dispenza

Former nun Mary Dispenza is now an advocate for those abused by priests. Her memoir, SPLIT: a child, a priest and the Catholic Church, chronicles her own abuse, her years as a nun and her search for healing from trauma and shame. Author and activist Mary Dispenza lives in Bellevue, Washington where she works to protect children from harm and abuse. She is Northwest district director for the national organization Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP) and a leader in Equal Rights Washington.
